I’m proud to be on first name terms with all my suppliers and to make my lingerie transparently and ethically here in Australia with a specialist production studio. You can have full confidence when buying my lingerie that you are making a purchase that respects both people and the planet. Read more about the talent team making our lingerie.
We don't follow trends but create classic, timeless designs in limited production runs to minimize overconsumption. I want you to be able to 'Buy once and buy well' and use silk and silk cotton as fabrics for our lingerie, as they are natural, breathable and will last forever if treated with care. They also contain no harmful pollutants like microplastics or petrochemicals.
We source from sustainable suppliers such as Better Packaging Co to eliminate plastic from our packaging. Our mailers are made from corn starch and not only feel velvety smooth to the touch but are fully compostable, in 9 months. Simply put them in your food waste organics or compost bin and let nature do the rest.
I am as hands on as possible in the creation of the label, I design both the prints for the fabric and the lingerie itself. I sketch each design by hand before working with an expert patternmaker in Sydney to bring it to life. The prints involve a lot of moodboards, travel and experimentation using mixed media in my studio before I work them into repeatable digital patterns and get them printed onto silk.
This process ensures that each finished Ms. Kensington piece can tell it’s own story as to why it is as unique and special as the person wearing it.
